Homework Alert
Homework Alert provides a communication tool for teachers and students. Teachers may fill out the assignment form below and send it to the library. Our librarians are then able to select appropriate materials from our collection, as well as gather related web sites. The assignments are then linked to our web site for student use. This allows us to give all students with the same assignment a better chance of locating materials and information.

Students: Check the link for your school. If your teacher's name is listed or any other information pertaining to your school assignment is on this page, click on it to look at your assignment.

Parents: Homework Alert may help you assist your child in completing his/her assignment in a timely manner.

Teachers: Homework Alert lets the librarians at the Commack Library know when you and your students will need materials for research and large class assignments. Some resources may need to be put on the School Assignment Shelf for the students' use. At least one week's notice is greatly appreciated.
