Compact Discs

Our sound recordings cover the entire spectrum of recorded music, including international, folk, classical, jazz, new age, sound effects, pop and rock. We also have cassettes that offer foreign language instruction as well as English language instruction. We have hundreds of audio books which are either full-length or condensed versions of popular books. Audio books can be borrowed for fourteen days and the compact discs can be borrowed for seven days.

Videos

We have over 9,000 VHS and DVD videos in our collection. You may borrow entertainment videos without cost for seven days. Instructional videos shelved with the book collection also circulate for seven days.

Microfilm Readers

We have several microfilm and microfiche readers in the library. Some of the machines will make copies for ten cents a page. Our microfilm holdings include The New York Times, Time, Newsweek, Newsday and many others. If you need to see a magazine or newspaper that predates our holdings, we can send for microfilm from the Suffolk Cooperative Library System.
