Children's Programs

All Children's Programs are limited to Commack Public Library cardholders.

A valid children's library card is necessary to attend
any programs for children ages 18 months and up.

Your punctuality is appreciated for all craft programs as a courtesy to the instructor and other participants. Latecomers will not be admitted after the first ten minutes of the program.

Online Juvenile Program Registration

The Commack Public Library offers online registration for Children and Young Adult programs. To register, your child should have a valid Commack Public Library card. Please adhere to all posted age and grade requirements for all programs. If you have an email address in your patron record, you will receive confirmations and reminders for programs for which you have registered. You can add an email address to your library account through your patron record, or call the library for assistance. For some programs, registration is limited and we will keep a waiting list.

To register, go to our Library's website. From the main page, click on Register for a Children's/Young Adult Program. The icon on the right-hand side of the page will link you to our catalog where you can enter the program code or program name. The code is next to the program name in our newsletter. You will then be directed to the program registration page; here you will find a description of the program and can complete the online registration.

You can register for any program in person from 9:00 AM on the day registration opens. Online and phone registration opens at 10:00 AM on that day.

If you have any questions regarding online registration, call the Circulation Desk at 499-0888.
