The Commack Public Library has been serving the Commack community for over thirty years. In 1970, we had a few hundred books stuffed into 480 square feet of a rented trailer. Today, we are in a modern , energy efficient, 22,550 square-foot building. Our few hundred books have grown into a collection of over 125,000. Through the years, we have added audio cassettes, modern photocopy equipment, computers, vidocassettes, compact discs, and computer software. After more than two decades of development our philosophy remains the same: to provide you with the most professional and pleasant library service possible.
